Are you yearning for more moments of connection and harmony within your family?
Imagine feeling deeply supported, grounded and confident in your boundaries.
Imagine being able to anticipate navigate tricky situations with calm and confidence.
Whether we are parenting or teaching, it all boils down to connection. We can have all the tools in the world, but if we aren’t fostering our connection with the children in our lives, the tools won’t work as intended.
In one-on-one sessions, we’ll have the opportunity to discuss the things that are coming up for you and your family. We’ll sift through the mountain of parenting info out there, so that you feel empowered to address the needs and challenges you’re facing. With a combination of philosophies that resonate with you, the depth of knowledge you have about your child, and my understanding of early childhood, together we’ll create a plan that woks for your whole family.
Possible Focus Areas for 1:1 Sessions:
*Developing creative strategies for boundaries and transitions;
*Discussing questions of developmentally appropriate behavior;
*Figuring out root causes or needs underlying frustrating behaviors;
*Crafting scripts for how to discuss or process difficult topics with your children;
*Strategies for emotional regulation (for you and your children!)
*Brainstorming activities, curriculum, and schedules for your children during prolonged school closures.
Together we can co-create ideas and solutions for a harmonious home, parent/child interactions that are more enjoyable and positive for all, and increased connection between you and your little ones.
Ways to work with me:
3-Session consulting package: Over the course of 6-8 weeks, we’ll meet via zoom three times (approx. every other week) to tackle the challenges that are coming up in your parenting journey. We’ll work through the bigger picture, pinpointing your goals for you and your family, and the we’ll make a plan for meeting those goals. We’ll discuss ways to set up your days for success, language to use during transitions, tantrums, or challenging conversations, and most importantly, small ways to foster connection everyday. On our off weeks, there will be time for you to practice new language and strategies. In between sessions I’ll be checking in via email and text to answer questions, so you have consistent support.
$345
Solo Session (60 min): A solo session is perfect for the caregiver that wants to focus on just one thing, such as developing ideas for a homeschool curriculum, one aspect of the day like tweaking a bedtime routine, or as a follow-up for families who have worked with me before.

-E.B., Professional organizer and parent of a 6 year old
“Katie has been a lifeline and trusted guide for me as I have continued to find myself in parenting situations with my 3 and a half year old where I think, "What is the right answer here?!" With every piece of advice Katie has given me, I always end up thinking, "Oh of course, that's the obvious answer,” and yet I could not get there on my own. The advice she gives ends up being the answer that is the most respectful to my child, and gives me the greatest sense of calm and confidence. Katie has helped me devise effective strategies in so many areas of my parenting. Whether it was questions about my child's clinginess or his bossy demands, to his shyness with new people, Katie has helped me come up with a plan that feels right and clear and doable. ”
